Hemp, also known as industry hemp, is grown specifically for the industrial uses, and can be refined into a variety of commercial items, including textiles, clothing, food, bio-pharmaceuticals, building material, new material for industrial engineering,etc. Hemp has lower concentrations of THC and higher concentrations of cannabidiol (CBD), thus the legality of industrial hemp is strictly regulated by Chinese government. The Anti-drug regulations of Heilongjiang Province, implemented on May 1st, 2017, is the first regulation in the form of local law and regulation in the country.

In July 2017, Sky Green Sunwu subsidiary was granted, with planting area up to 40,000 mu of legal industrial hemp seed variety "Hemp No.1", Heilongjiang crop variety registration certificate. At the same time, Sky Green R&D Institute of Breeding, together with famous domestic and international research institutions of hemp, actively promotes the iterative development and innovation of varieties, laying a foundation for cultivating legitimate varieties and promoting their application. At present, “Qingma Series”, the varieties for fiber use, has developed No.1,2,3,4 varieties, and the varieties for edible (Bohai Series) and medicinal (Tiancao Series) uses are under breeding.
